my lil monkey

is 8 months!

So, I'm a little late on his 8month blog. But thats only because he keeps me busy! :)
Elijah turned 8 months almost 2 weeks ago. Since I last blogged about my sweet boy,he's a full time crawler. He has learned he can go/do just about anything. He will follow us to the kitchen, into the hallway and into our room. He chases after Maxx(poor Maxx can't relax now :)) and will pull himself onto his knees(and in some cases all the way up to a standing position) on pretty much anything.

We've celebrated another 1st Holiday with him too, Easter! We had a great time with family, Uncle Levi was home on leave, so he got to have fun with us. Elijah got tons of goodies the Easter bunny left at our house, Grammy & Pops house & at Grandma Martinez's house!

I busted out his little pool last week, and he loves it! He loves to play in water in general, born mid -summer in Tx...I think thats a given!:)

I've also noticed he recognizes people more. He LOVES his Pops (my dad). He can see him from a distance and put his arms out to go to him. Its SO cute!

Just yesterday evening-as he was chewing on my finger, I felt a lil poke-a tooth! His first bottom tooth(bottom left) !!

As I sit here, Elijah is sharing a lunchable with his daddy, I couldn't imagine life any other way. I don't want my baby to grow up, but I'm so proud of him! I don't know what we did before him!!
